Backstory of Game / Project

This project was created in spring quarter of B IMD 363. Within a group of 3 members, we each worked together to execute Escape of Happiness to become a reality.
"Happiness" is a resource that is used to fight off a disease that turns people into monsters of "Unhappiness."
As an "Excavator" you search for "Happiness" in abandoned space ships.

    Game Flow Chart

With both of the levels drawn out, it was easier for us to navigate and have the flow in Unity follow our blueprint flowcharts.

    Prototype

Here is the link to our Adobe Xd Game prototype. This is the closest to what our team imagined the game to look.

      Reflection

With the outcomes that we went through as a group, I learned to adapt and find different ways to be able to publish what we had envisioned. I learned not to depend on one method but to have different backup plans in case the main one fails. As a team we had to adapt from unfortunate circumstances and made quick decisions based on our fast-paced environment and shift quickly to what we knew from wireframing and created the game that we had envisioned together. When problems stopped our progress, we worked together to solve these problems and be able to ride back on track and move forward. With one of our biggest problem being our code deleted even though we saved multiple, we moved into Adobe Xd. This shift provided me with the experience of having to shift gears when problems occurs and this is an experience that many encounter.
