Value Statement

I am a Mexican American first generation who is an advocate for the creation of communities and the development of a space where future generations can shine their potential future. My designer values and skills as well as my personal values of visionary, creativity, and humility will assist me with the possibilities of creating such space for the benefit of my communities. 

Background

I am a Mexican American person who was born to Mexican immigrants parents. I was taught that one should set high standards and have goals in life to achieve. Working hard and having a focus mindset in achieving the goals is an important part of my identity.

Based on my past, I can say that my whole persona revolves on being an individual who is an advocate for the creation of communities, a designer whose designs are intended to ensure the wishes of the users and have an optimistic perspective on the world no matter the size of the impact, and a visionary who desires to build and produce a space where underrepresented and low-income generations can have the guidance and help in their goals in life. From my time growing to the present, my values have been evolving and some have become more important than others.
